Tyrannus and Lydia Halls

Chuck and Elouise Corwin began the first Tyrannus Hall in Tokyo over a half-century ago.

Our Vision

Strengthening Christian university students in their relationship with the Lord so that they might build up the church and impact the world for the glory of God.

What We Do

We are a Christian interdenominational non-profit organization that believes in the power of residential discipleship communities among university students. We are committed to partnering with like-minded groups around the globe to realize these Halls for men and women. Based on relationships of trust, we commit to providing initial and partial funding for the Hall as well as long-term consultancy in establishing and nurturing discipleship communities so that each independently owned and operated Hall can effectively disciple university students.

Our Distinctives
