Students for the Kingdom

Our vision is to see university students transformed into the image of Jesus Christ, becoming humble, effective Christlike servants wherever God may lead them. Why? Because such “disciple-becoming” and “disciple-making” is best done the way Jesus Himself did it. Like Jesus, we gather together a limited number of non-theological types and live with them for 3-5 years, teaching them, modeling for them and equipping them to spread the Kingdom of God to the ends of the world. It is with such young men and women that Jesus chose to build His Kingdom. Tyrannus and Lydia Halls seeks to do the same.

Our vision of discipleship unto Jesus in community is inspirational. It is fully committed to and involved in the Lord of history’s epic overarching agenda to “purify for Himself a people for His own possession” (Titus 2:14). This vision is also aspirational. It functions to give us a clear and practical goal toward which we work. It helps us focus our efforts and utilize our resources in the best ways possible.

We know we cannot achieve it on our own, but with God's help and the participation of His children around the world, we see Him making a transformative difference in student lives.
